A letter from Louis M. Morgner
Dear Builder,
The world doesn't need another university. It doesn't need more theory, more credentials, or more gatekeepers. What the world needs is more people who are willing to do the hard, unglamorous work of solving real problems.
I started Acta with a simple mission: to build companies that serve humanity. We are a group of engineers, designers, and creators who believe that technology should make life better, not just more distracting.
But along the way, I realized that building isn't just about code or design. It's about mindset. It's about understanding that most of what we're taught about "success" is wrong. We're told to follow a path, to seek stability, to wait for permission. But the best things in life come from doing the opposite.
Acta University is our attempt to share what we've learned.
It's not about grades. It's about truth. The truth is that building a startup is unintuitive. It's messy. It requires you to unlearn as much as you learn. It demands that you stop trying so hard to impress others and start focusing on what actually works.
We believe in:
This platform is for the young makers, the restless tinkerers, and anyone who feels that itch to create something that outlasts them. We're here to give you the tools, the mental models, and the encouragement to start.
The rest is up to you.
Keep building,
Louis
